Am I EVER going to Church again?

Well... today... nope!

We literally haven't been to church in 4 Sundays! I'm starting to feel quite guilty about it.

So to justify myself, I will give you the following rundown:

• First Sunday missed, we were driving my parents to Liege so they could catch their flight back to Israel
• Second Sunday missed the snow was SUPER thick and we don't have snow tires, so driving 40 minutes to Church was out.
• Third Sunday we had no car because our rental was broken into and we returned it and didn't rent a new one
• Fourth (today) Jon and I feel like crap and have head colds and headaches.

SO yes. There are my excuses just so you all don't think we're terrible, although 4 weeks away from Church is pretty bad. We are attending a church called Christian Center and going to the International service (aka in English). It's definitely no Shady Grove, but there is a good community of believers there. It's just hard for us to get plugged in because we live so far away. There is another church that is a Vineyard church that has a really great 20 something group, however, they have no childcare for the Sunday services and sitting at the back trying to wrangle my 1 year old who feels like he should constantly be on the move does not appeal to me.

Wishing that there was an awesome church with amazing worship around here, but alas... nope. Or at least not that anyone in our circle knows about.

Soooo I just realized something. I haven't been to a restaurant in 6 weeks. That is the longest (besides the first 3 months I was in Cyprus) that I've gone. Probably in my entire life.
It's not been a money thing either. It's been more of a... what's the point? We have no On the Border or Cuba Libre here, so why would I want to eat out :-) And the really good restaurants are all really expensive. But for reals. I'm CRAVING some On the Border queso and tortillas or some delicious black bean dip from Cuba Libre. Or, heck I would settle for a party burrito from Taco Bueno! Mmm... or Quesa-D-Ya's in Dallas... AHHH my mouth is salivating! Can you tell I want Mexican food??

Anyways, just laying around today. Trying to get rid of this headache and hoping I feel better soon.

Hoping that you all have a great Sunday. The VDP clan is coming over tonight for dinner. Thankfully I'm not cooking, or we may all be eating sandwiches. :-)
